- What is at least one of your reasons/goals for joining the board? (feel free to elaborate)
Originally, way way back, I joined because I was whining about wanting programs more relevant to my interests. It was so long ago I can't even remember what was relevant. I'm a firm believer in not complaining unless you're willing to help. So there I was on the board. Then I realized I like the camaraderie of the boardmembers, to count on a posse for advice or when a client is bugging me or I wonder where to find a weird whozeemagidget for a shoot.
Also, it's nice to eat chinese food once every couple of months at a big round table...
- What's your dream photo assignment?
Spending five days way deep on the Navajo Rez, staying with a family of churro sheep ranchers in Arizona where no one speaks english, photographing their lives & work . Ohhhhh, wait, I did that. My dream assignment is one that makes me feel the same way that shoot did about photography . Could be anywhere.
Also, any shoot that solves the world's problems. Or, one that pays a buttload of money. Or, both at the same time. Thats IS a dream, isn't it?.
- Describe your ideal taco.
It's a fish taco, I am eating it outdoors by a beach looking at the Pacific Ocean. There are no raw tomatoes on it.
