First Pixels & Pints for 2010 to be held in Westport

Time: Thursday, February 11 at 6:30 for camaraderie, and 7:00 showtime
Cost: Cash Bar and free pizza if you send images ahead. $5.00 if you come empty-handed.

The holidays are behind us and a new and more prosperous year is ahead of us. So, let's get the momentum going with the first  Pixels and Pints of 2010. It's  a fun evening for everyone to kick back and see what each other has been doing this winter.

The pizza is free courtesy of CTASMP as long as you provide between five  new images to show. But if you just want to watch, it only costs five dollars for all the pizza you can eat, regardless of whether you are an ASMP member or not. Just bring enough cash to cover your beverages and enjoy the camaraderie. If you aren't a member, it's a time to see what CTASMP is all about in a casual, relaxed, environment. It's not a "how-to" evening nor is it a time to critique, just a time to enjoy each other's work, or pleasure, if you so please.

Some photographers show their fun projects, others their vacation shots and some their latest client work. For some it's architecture, others weddings or commercial work, fashion, advertising, sports, products, and fine, or not-so-fine, art. If you'd rather show a different topic, go for it.

So choose five images that you haven't shown at a P&P event before, put them in jpeg, sRGB and resize them to no larger than 1040 megapixels in any direction. Images should be renamed with your initials and in numeric sequence (e.g. jw01, jw02, etc.) then email them to  Ron Glassman by noon February 11. No image files will be accepted at the P&P event.  If you decide at the last minute to come, just bring $5 and enjoy the evening.
